For example, take Friday, January 15 before MLK Day on Monday, January 18 for a four-day break. Take Friday, February 12 before Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 15 for another. The PDF maps the remaining breaks and destination ideas.
These dates assume a Monday–Friday workweek and that your employer observes the relevant holidays. Check your own holiday calendar before requesting leave.
